Whats "in" in Mason's world:

1)Running around with only a diaper on.
2)A toy rhino we found in the clearance bin for 50 cents at Wal-greens. (He's always loved rhinos. What can I say?!)
3) Band-aids. Enough said.

Brotha's

a) Wow, my blog is still here. I kinda wasn't expecting that.
b) Wow, my uploading mechanism works. I REALLY wasn't expecting that.
c) These brothers are adorable. Earlier this morning at Wal-Mart Tyler told me that he needed an activity so he wouldn't play on the computer. (What mother doesn't like to hear that!?) So we picked out a beenie making/crochet type thingee. His first project was creating a hat for Mason. Mason LOVES it and won't take it off. The funniest sentence of the day was when Tyler said, (while crocheting the hat), "Dang my arm hurts! Sewing is a hard sport". ummm.

At the end of the day Tyler played his sport for a total of about 6 hours. No computer, no friends, no tv. Not bad!

FHE tonight..

Family sits.
Family sings the "The Family" (CS 194).
Kids so hyper Nathan tells them to go outside and get their screams out.
Parents close eyes and enjoy the silence for a 27.6 short seconds.
Kids clomp back in, anxious to get started.

And then Mason goes happy-berserk and starts doing weird somersault jumps off the Elmo chair and accidently drools spit streams everywhere. We laugh. And then belly laugh. And then tears-streaming-down-the-face-laugh-hysterically-until-we-don't-know-why-we-are-laughing-anymore.

20 minutes have passed and it was the best FHE ever. And we hadn't even said the opening prayer yet. :)

Tyler and Tyley

Was at the school today for Valentine parties. I did a game in Hailey's class that required a stuffed animal so I brought a cute green frog. Afterwards, while peaking in on Tyler's class, Tyler saw it and asked if he could give it to Tyley. (I was so back and forth on this decision...) but I finally said yes. I sat and watched him walk over to her, do the "hand-off", and keep walking without talking at all. She beamed. For about 5 minutes. I just watched until the teacher came and shut the door on me because I wouldn't leave. I guess I was a distraction. :)

I'm so embarrassing.

I spent the morning at the kids' school. (Hailey's class: pizza party.) Last night I asked Tyler if I could peak in and wave and he said, "No, everyone will think I'm dating a mom!". (What?!) So today instead of waving I peaked in and did the double fist hit on my chest and a peace sign. He about died. Oh. it. was. so. funny. He won't care if I only wave now!

I am not even joking I just had this conversation with Emma.

Emma: "Mom?"
Emma: "Mom?"
Emma: "Mom?"
Me: "What Emma? I am doing homework."
Emma: "But you need to answer me."
Me: "What."
Emma: "Mom?"
Me: "What."
Emma: "I love you."
Me: "I love you, too."

Geez that took long.

You know you are a Mormon if...

...you know who Jon Schmidt is. He came up to Vernal tonight and I took the 4 kids to a "piano student pep talk" he did a few hours before the major show. He's awesome. Played all the lovelies, (Waterfall being the best!). Some of the highlights:

-He announced he will sign autographs at the end and Tyler looks up and says to me, "Hurry Mom, let's go get my Shaquille O'Neal poster!". (What!? I don't think Tyler gets autographs. You don't sign other people's stuff.) Weirdo.

-Got a picture with him and the 2 older kids.

-Am now inspired to take piano lessons and learn how to play upside down.

-He played the youtube sensation of "Love Story Meets Viva La Vida and said, "I was thinking we would get about 10,000 hits on youtube to see it, and it went to 3 million. I was amazed how far it got around the world. It even made it to Vernal."

:)

-Inspired Tyler in particular. Especially when he told him, "We need cool guys like you to play the piano."

Question:

We now own three parakeets. My question is: Can I feed parakeets dog? Pomeranian dog in particular?

Mason: "Mama"

Mason: "Hailey"
me: "Emma"
Mason: "Emma"
me: "Baby"
Mason: "Baby"

h) Lay in bed.
i) Kiss nose.
j) Rub eyes with thumbs
k) Say, "Go night-night."
l) And off he goes to Baby Sleepyland. (Which I believe is like Disneyland, but for babies.)

Same thing. Over and over. Nap-time, bed-time, nap-time, bed-time. Since he was born. Love it. Love that it is written so I can read back on it when I am 100 and reminisce. And cry probably. :)
