Blue Boy

Saturdays. Sundays.

Our family was asked to do a musical number in sacrament. Nate didn't want to do a solo so I had Tyler and Hailey sing Family Can Be Together Forever. They did great. Hailey sobbed up until the sacrament was passed, but she pulled it together. I was at the piano but apperently they kept pulling the microphone to each other. (So typical). We recorded it home so they can "show Grandma Linda next week".

Deep in discussion.

Yea Races! (But really a secret way for the mom to get the kids energy out.)

Sun sweet sun. auuggggggghh (I just woke up here).

Camping on Friday. A little too cold for mama though.

Masos eats Pesos

Tyler especially has been
working with Mason trying
to teach him to sit up.
(Thus all the pillows
surrounding him).

It's finally paid off.

Man it was work to snap a modest picture (using props). It took about 6-7 tries.Mason loves his bath.

Hitching a ride to go pull
weeds at the neighbors house.

Self-Reliance FHE=

CRAWDAD FISHING! Steineker
Lake is* 7, (yes 7!!!) miles from
our house.
*I mention this so my family
will come up here and go to
the lake with us.

The day was perfect and
the weather fine.

We started with toe-dipping.

Then we all just jumped in. (excluding
Maso.)It was soooo much fun. It r
eminded me of Lake Mead as a kid.
Nathan has been holding out on us by
not taking us to the is lake. The kids
want to go "at least 7 times" before fall. Hopefully Dad and siblings (hmm hmm)
will come and beach it with us and
then camp on the sand. Bring your
fishing boat!

Like I said the swimming
part was unplanned, so we
had to "make" a towel for
Emma out of Mason's
blanket. She felt insanely
beautiful because she was
the Barbie Island Princess.
(And Hailey was insanely
jealous because she had
soggy wet ratty clothes on.)
Oh it was a grand time.
