Our week in a nutshell.

I have missplaced my camera (dang it) and so I am planning on getting a new one. Until then I will have to do written updates on my family in list form. (I am a mother, all I know how to do is write lists.)Here's goes....

1)We sold our house and we are starting the long drawn-out process of packing and moving. I say drawn out because we have a few months to do it, but when I say "we" I mean "me". Nathan will be gone pretty much every weekday until August and so I am on my own. If it doesn't kill me it will only make me stronger right? The GREAT part is that Jamie and Rod will be here in our basement so I will have some adult conversation . (Well, semi-adult. Rod is like a 10-year old kid in an adult body-builder body. Tyler is so excited to "play" with him.) I can't wait to have them here.

2)Hailey is now doing cheerleading class. Today was her first day and she was great. We also start baseball on Wednesday and swimming lessons next week. I am stocking up on water bottles and dusting off my picnic chair because this means I will be sitting and watching for many many hours.

3)I asked Hailey what she wanted to say to our family through this blog, and she said to say, "I love them. And I like them".

4) For Memorial Day weekend we went to Grandpa Stan's cabin in Beaver. One day we went fishing for 5 hours and caught 11 fish. Nathan said I if he can teach me to enjoy the whole (long and boring) process of fishing, he will let me teach him how to play the violin. I will update on our progress! :) Ta-Ta.

Sewing Lessons

My children have the best grandparents in the world. Momma Linda took an afternoon to teach Hailey the basics of sewing. I am SO appreciative of them. She made a pillow for Emma's bed.

Pooping times...

We were at gross McDonalds and were ready to leave but couldn't get Emma down from the blue-net part of the jungle gym. It took 15 minutes. She found a little hiding spot to do her B.M. business.

Sniff. (Just in time for Mo's Day)

When I tuck Tyler into bed at night we play a "5 Favorites" game. As you can imagine I am having to get pretty creative since he wants to play every night. I asked him what his favorite thing to do with his hands, and he gave 3 answers:

1)Water stuff with the hose.
1)Hold turtles.
2)Rub my face. (I knew these chubby cheeks would be endearing to someone!)

Sons are great.

NEWS!!

Nathan was promoted to a Business Relations Manager with Wells Fargo over the Uintah Basin here in Utah. It is 2 hours away up the Provo Canyon, and we are going to reside in Venereal. I mean Urinal. I mean Vernal. (Gotta get that straight). Since I know 5 people there, and they are all family, this will be an adventure. We have committed to a 3 year stay, and then we will move back to Utah County. Tyler and Hailey are excited, and off we go tomorrow to find us a house. This blog and and all my fellow bloggers will be even more important to me since it is my LIFE LINE to my family and friends. Keep updating! I will add more info when I get it....(In case you didn't know Vernal is known for the dinosaur bones there. And I am getting chickens. Everyone there has chickens.)

What we did today:

We started off with a little Mom and Muffins party at Cherry Creek.

......and then we had to look at a bug....

.....for about 10 minutes.....

.....after biking for 13 miles at Gold's Gym and defining my six-pack underneath my belly fat, we went back to Cherry Creek for Hailey's Birthday Class Party and to introduce Belle to the class. Hailey felt like a celebrity with all the attention she got from the rat. Afterwards me and my awesome smile came home and cleaned my house. Why you ask? Because we are moving....

Kyle posting on my blog...

"Laser eye surgery. Thank goodness Stacey was there to hold my hand."

"Getting ready for a date. I am so nervous."

"I am such a good boy. I love my big sister Stacey, and so I am following in her footsteps and moving into Enclave this weekend."

Pictures that have made me laugh the last few weeks.
