24th of July parade. (T, H and E are in it). I made Nathan go squirt the kids...

3 No-No's

Our kids jump on the couch...onto mattresses on the floor...which they sleep on at night instead of their beds.

River Yummy Rafting

Living in a rural country town definitely has some advantages. We floated down the Green River yesterday and had probably the best time doing it out of everything we have done so far this summer. It is the PERFECT family activity. It took a total of 4 hours and Mason did great. He keeps asking for "more boat" and "rapids!" today. We have decided to make it a yearly tradition right before the 24th of July, but we "have to have Cream Soda, too!" (According to Tyler. This was part of our picnic-on-the-side-of-the-river).

In honor of Nathan's mother-in-law (Momma Linda, who was trying to get here to visit this weekend but had cancelled flights), we took this picture:

Tyler and Hailey at the staring point in front of Flaming Gorge Dam...
Hailey VERY proud that she was the first child to jump in...

Emma the first child "forced" in...
Mason's "spot". He rarely left the protection of Mom, and had to almost always be facing towards me. A little rough for me trying to paddle...
Although he was very happy to get a new "toy". A squirt bottle...
Lunch on the side of the river. (Not sure what Hailey is doing.)
Getting up the nerve...
Emma pointing to the Devil's Diving Board...(Which they now think Nate has jumped off of...)

Being pulled on a rope...

Wierd little Littles

My children can be so odd. I took Emma to a pioneer museum down the street and she wanted to get a pioneer hat as a souvenir. She hasn't taken the dang thing off. Here she is at the movies the next day. :)
Band-aids, Band-aids and more Band-aids. Here he is sneaking up on the counter for more. (See behind his head). You can imagine the questions we get from everyone. :)

The other day was a little slow, so we went to a Splash Park here in Vernal.
Mason would drink the water...

...and come spit it out on me. At LEAST 10 times. Great.
Sisters.

Wearing the moms sunglasses.

And taking a "cool" picture. :)

Nate loves Stacey

I painted a wall in our house "chalkboard black". Kinda extreme but the good news is that you can't see it from the front door, so it's all cool. :)
Here's my romantic husband:
The entire wall:

And the one who loves it the most:

Whats "in" in Mason's world:

1)Running around with only a diaper on.
2)A toy rhino we found in the clearance bin for 50 cents at Wal-greens. (He's always loved rhinos. What can I say?!)
3) Band-aids. Enough said.

Brotha's

a) Wow, my blog is still here. I kinda wasn't expecting that.
b) Wow, my uploading mechanism works. I REALLY wasn't expecting that.
c) These brothers are adorable. Earlier this morning at Wal-Mart Tyler told me that he needed an activity so he wouldn't play on the computer. (What mother doesn't like to hear that!?) So we picked out a beenie making/crochet type thingee. His first project was creating a hat for Mason. Mason LOVES it and won't take it off. The funniest sentence of the day was when Tyler said, (while crocheting the hat), "Dang my arm hurts! Sewing is a hard sport". ummm.

At the end of the day Tyler played his sport for a total of about 6 hours. No computer, no friends, no tv. Not bad!
