Art Show

Enjoyed a beautiful evening in Provo at the Zions Bank annual Art Show. 8 floors of art with live music and catering on each floor. Valoy was on the top floor and (in my humble opinion) was heads and shoulders above everyone else's work. I also enjoyed walking around with Nathan and EVERYONE knowing him by name. He's so cool. :)

Sick

Last week I was pretty sick, particularly one day. As usual a mom can't just go to sleep and must carry on. But I was able to lay down and have my kids hang out in my room with me. A small blessing from this is that Tyler and Hailey just talked with me. We laid around and they told me about their day. Very nice for a diarrhea day. (A picture Emma took of me to prove I was sick. :)

Other happenings....

Tyler finished his "Medieval Project" and made a catapult with his group. He had to dress in a pillowcase as a beggar but secretly made his costume say "Kings" and turned it into a BBall jersey.
We also had a kickoff softball parade down main street here in Mapleton and I had THREE kids in it. Weird. Tyler was at a friends and Nathan got lost :) so I was sitting by myself on the side of the road. What an odd feeling. ;)

Go Kings, Chicks and Angels!

Samms blessing part 2

Happy 75th birthday Ellie!

Samms blessing

Took a quick trip to Vegas for Samms blessing. Had lot of good cousin time and had a quick scare when a certain mother wasn't watching Mason close enough and I had to jump in to pull him out of the pool. One of my top 10 scary moments!

Happy 11th Birthday Hailey

(She chose $100 instead of a party. Saving for an iPod Touch. :)

(I snuck this one in on Tyler at the last minute. He didn't mind too much since it was for Mothers Day. :)

Mothers Day 2012

Started off with a dozen homemade love notes and paper flowers. Silky lavender pjs, (my favorite), breakfast and some beautiful jewelry and chocolates. I'm totally pumped up for another year of mothering. :)

I love these babies so much. I had each one take a picture with me. I think a tradition is born. :)

P.S Emma took the one with Mason. This is what we got. ;)

"The Bumblebee Jumping Club"

Last night for a "fun" FHE we went to one of those extreme trampoline places that have 30 trampolines in a room with pits full of foam. As usual the kids loved it, but Nathan and I had just as much fun. Nate even did a DOUBLE back flip. As in 2 rotations. He sort of landed on his neck but didn't get hurt at all. (Thank goodness). Ended it at Dairy Queen for chocolate dipped ice cream cones. (Bytheway not sure why I call this place the bumble bee jumping club. Mason just called it that and we went with it. :)
