Why I love FHE

Even though we are all exhausted from our first trip to Seven Peaks, and even though Valoys air conditioning went out and we are all sweating bullets, and even though I had to quickly find a last minute lesson on Pinterest, (The Woman at the Well), and even though I had to turn off a Jazz game and Cake Boss, I'm so glad I did it. Why? Because while we were eating our traditional treat of brownies and ice cream, Emma looks up at me and says with a grin, "I love my life. And I love my family."

Wow one heck of a long day. Chuck'e'cheese, softball games,(with Grandma Eaton), basketball practise in Midway, Slurpees, Pack Meeting, back to game... We were literally out and about from 1:15-8:30. But these kind of days make me love Home. Same for the kids. While I cleaned up dinner I sent Nathan up with them to watch a "kid show". This is how it looked. :) (Mrs. Spiders Sunnypatch was the chosen show.)

Went for Austyn Reynolds baptism. Left Hailey there to play with Jayci for a week.

Picnic at Hobble Creek

We saw a mama duck and her 8 babies, deer, butterflies, all sorts of bugs, and also came home with a caterpillar named "Green Bean."

What summer is about.

Me making dinner and looking through the window at my water babies. I like to think back 6 months ago and think how dark, cold and snowy it was at this time. Can barely even remember it.:)

Achievement Days Olympics

Hailey and her achievement day group put together a Mom and Me picnic and game day. I won a medal (from Hailey) that was for "Best Cook". :)
Not going to lie, made me surprised. And also makes me want to cook more! I have a sweet daughter.
