not much...

Just a family update. It has been awhile but for good reason. Last week we went to Las Vegas to watch Jamie open lots of baby girl clothes. That's right. 1100 miles, a parking ticket, 18 hours on the road with no husband, Las Vegas heat+air conditioning burnout, morning sickness and nasty snow storm all for my baby sister and my baby niece. I would not do it for anyone other than my sisters. I say sisters because we also stayed at Rachel's and "helped" (at least that was the plan, not sure if it happened) with her 100+ guest list combined-birthday-bash for husband Josh and Maddie. Good party times. Although the highlight was learning speed scrabble at Brian's house. "Stacey takes all" is how that game ended.
It is goofy that I am going to talk about the weather on this here blog, but I can't help it. I am absolutely surprised at the beauty here in Vernal. Experiencing the oven aka Las Vegas, and then traveling through snow/sleet/rain of Ceder through Strawberry, I drove into the most beautiful weather here. Cool crisp air and blue skies with really bright sun. It is gorgeous.
As far as pregnancy, I am now 5 months, and will not be posting any more "sole-y to show off the belly" pictures. I am huge!!!!!! Yet still throwing up occasionally. ???? I admit I do enjoy chocolate and ice cream on a daily basis, but still, there are carrots and bananas thrown in there somewhere......I am taking violin lessons from a fabulous teacher who travels in from the Wasatch Front every 2 weeks. I am surprised at how much she is teaching me and how I am progressing. I still love it, and Mom helped me buy a great violin that has been awesome to play on. I am such a believer in everyone trying to learn SOMETHING musical. What joy.
Tyler, Hailey and Emma are doing great. They are super smart, super nice and super kids in general. They love running around the fields in our backyard and make clubs, clubhouses and play games all day until dinner. They have lots of friends and are at the top of their classes. (Hey, it is a rat race in the 1st and 2nd grade).
Nathan is still hammering away at school and work. At this point I think he is golfing with his Dad. (It isn't ALL work). He has experienced "Guitar Hero" with Tyler and loves it. The whiny guitar and heavy metal really speaks to him. eeeeeeeeee. Give me some classical!!
Last but not least, little Jasper. He is a mighty 6 inches, getting slightly more pushy, and makes my body ache like no other pregnancy I have experienced. I feel like a mountain that must stay in one position all day because of the heaviness and achiness. And I am so so so tired. I am glad to be able to nap every day with little Emma. He is the boss of me at this point. We may have chosen a name that hasn't been talked about before. But some things can be left until that magical day of tearing, sweating, bleeding, epiduraling.... :)
