My little boys.

Happy 9th birthday Tyler! Nathan was late getting back from ski-diving (see below) and so I did the party by myself, which was taking 9 kids to the movie theater. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) You can imagine how unrelaxing that is!

Emma had Mason cracking up with a balloon. To bad I can't explain how funny it was. The pictures will have to suffice.

Happenings

A bear. A brown bear. On the highway from Vernal to Provo. (This isn't the real bear FYI). This is what Nathan saw 10 feet away from his car on the way to.....

Ski-dive. My nerves are shot because I thought these events were making a good story of how Nathan died. As in, "He wrestled a bear the night before he jumped out of a plane and his parachute didn't work." He even had the nerve to go over our life insurance before he left. I did ask him if he wanted "How Great Thou Art" or "God Be With You Til We Meet Again" for his funeral. (This was a gift from me for his 32 birthday).

His instructor was from South Africa and was on his 2342 jump.

Emma is so naughty right now. Lots of "kitchen surprises", cutting stuff that shouldn't be cut (her sound machine wire and pillow last night), toys in the toilet, messes EVERYWHERE. Tyler and Hailey never did any of this. She is a handful.

Cave family. Emma was terrified but Tyler and Hailey were all over it. Mason was perfect as usual.

First day of 3rd grade.

First day of second grade.

We traveled to Las Vegas a few weeks ago, and I want you to imagine Nathan pushing all of these suitcases on the smart carte and powdered baby formula starts streaming out all over the place. Nathan kept walking and every few steps leaned down to blow a little of the 4-inch high powder into the air to disappear. Soooooooo funny. Of course I acted like I didn't know who he was just so I could watch him struggle for a little while.

I started Emma in a preschool and she loved it the first day, but the next few days they had to pull her away from me.It wasn't worth it at all so we decided to wait another year. She does fine at home and is very attached to me, and of course I love it.

Paris. I wish I could say the real thing, but I can't. :(

Dad has a huuuuuuuge orchard of fruit at his house. The kids loved picking grapes.

The blondies.

Music ideas?

I am back to running everyday. I am going to lose these pounds so I can fit into my new Snow White costume come Halloween. I am not sure any of my "invited guests" on this blog are into exercising, but if you are, what music do you listen to?

Anyone want to start jogging, too?

Want rock-hard abs?

Then come over to our house and play Pit with Tyler, Hailey and Emma. It was the funniest game I have ever played. This is the way we Pit it:

Tyler-Half of his card swaps DO NOT MATCH. We finally decided to dock him 10 points for every time he does this. (So throughout the game Nate and I are having to subtract points in our heads).

Hailey-I love my Hailey. Seriously I do. But every time she wins it is by mistake. Like the "bull" she has is really the bear. Or there aren't 9 of the same kind. But a least she starts giggling when she has either one of these cards.

Emma-She doesn't get this game, so we gave her the leftover cards and Nate and I have separate piles to trade exclusively with Emma. Half way through she gets bored and gets the poker chips out, gets on the top of the table, and starts crawling around passing out poker chips in front of everyone. I felt bad for her so I made everyone "listen to Emma!". She explains her game: Whenever she says our name then we have to stand up. (Nate is rolling his eyes the whole time.)

Aughhhh, my belly still hurts...

Well...

The last few weeks have been extremely busy what with elementary school , new preschool, Vegas trip, family colds, people looking to buy our house so I have to clean it (puke), fall activities, football, immunizations with accompanying fevers, law school applications, birthday planning, callings, family and other "normal life" going on. I am happiest when I am busy. But it is nice when the pace slows down and so I want to join back into the blogging world. Too bad my camera battery is dying out on me and I can't. :(
I will join in when I can, but keep all of yours going. They are entertaining and important to me, especially as we cozy in for the cold season and holidays!
